Not made

I haven’t made it as it takes twice as much yarn. Yarn is doubled which I did not know when I purchased the pattern.

Bought the wool to go with the free pattern. Wish I had read the pattern first, as it is really badly written, have been knitting for more years than I like to admit, but have failed miserably. Have managed to get another pattern and wool knits up lovely.

I have been very disappointed in the directions. They are not write line by line but in paragraph form which is difficult to follow and track. The directions are written in English but are not written for both sides of the Atlantic. I love the look of this cardigan however I will always look to see how well the directions are written before downloading another pattern. At first, I thought it was because I was not an experienced knitter but my longtime knitting friend found many things that made following the directions. e.i. the front did not mention the decrease until you had already knit the whole pocket. Then said remember to do the decrease like the back. I have even tried to go through and rewrite them myself and have found it difficult to put into a line by line pattern. If the pattern gets re-written with clearer directions I would be interested in having them emailed to me.
