Squeaky Mouse in a Basket in DK by Amanda Berry - Digital Version
This little mouse would make a super little toy, or even be used as a pincushion. This knitting pattern includes the instructions to knit the mouse and his basket. The mouse is 7cm long and 6cm wide, and the basket is approximately 10cm diameter. The pattern includes row numbers for each step so you don’t lose your place, instructions for making the mouse and basket, photos, a list of abbreviations and explanation of some techniques, a materials list and recommended yarns. All pieces are knitted flat on straight 4.00mm (US 6) knitting needles (not worked in the round), apart from the tail which is an i-cord piece knitted on two double pointed needles. The mouse is knitted in double knitting (light worsted weight) yarn, and the basket in a chunky (worsted weight) yarn.

Knitted mouse in a basket

This was a super pattern, so cute and easy to do.I found the basket came up a bit large but it could be my tension.the handle does stay upright which I wondered weather it would.the answer to my basket was a knitted a little pink blanket which solved the problem. A really lovely knit when done.
