Serenity Wrap or Skirt by Maria Bittner
The Serenity Wrap Poncho and Beach Skirt has a lovely lacy stitch and sways gently as you walk. It’s a versatile piece that goes from beach to evening wear in a flash. The cord ties into a pretty decorative bow when worn as a poncho and doubles as a drawstring to convert it into a quick beach skirt. Add a brooch or pretty stick pin and it is a lovely wrap for an evening out.
The pattern includes 3 sizes and two different hem finishes. You could even make it longer and wear it as a tube top beach cover!
The pattern is written in US Standard Crochet Terms. Maria designed the pattern to be made in sport (4 ply) weight yarn but it can work in many fibres including a wool/nylon combination or cotton. We have made up our own combination using Signature 4 Ply for West Yorkshire Spinners in either shade illustrated here.
