A fun and funky take on traditional Fair Isle, this warm and cosy hat will keep you chic and stylish whatever the weather. Created using 3 shades of Ewe Ewe Yarn’s soft and gentle Wooly Worsted Yarn. Made from the finest Australian superwash Merino wool, with tightly twisted strands, it has a smooth surface and excellent stitch definition. Designed by Heather Walpole, the hat is knitted in stocking stitch (which gives the self-curling rim), and the clever choice of colours transition beautifully to give the impression of the open sea merging into the waves breaking on the sandy shore. Though of course, you can choose your own colourways to create your own story. Instructions are One Size to fit a head circumference up to 24”. To complete your Sand and Sea Hat you will need a 5.5mm (US9) circular needle 16” (40cm) and 5.5mm (US9) double pointed needles (DPNs). You will also need a stitch marker.
