Ric Rac Blanket by Leonie Morgan - Pattern Only
The Ric Rac blanket was designed by Leonie Morgan, a talented knitting and crochet pattern designer who is the author of four books about the craft. Leonie is inspired by colour and loves the process of working out new patterns either square by square or line by line, this passion comes across in her fun, inspiring designs. She writes a blog called WoolnHook where you can read all about her creations!
The Ric Rac blanket has been designed as an ideal beginners project, although the easy to memorise, repeated stitch pattern makes it a lovely therapeutic blanket to make. Leonie's pattern includes both written instructions and a chart and also has step by step pictures to help you master this stitch.
The finished blanket should measure approximately 120 x 177cm when complete although this may vary depending on your tension. You will also need a 4mm(G) size crochet hook to complete this project and a tapestry needle to sew in the end.

Ric Rac Blanket Pattern
I have struggled with this pattern, but Iam a novice to crochet.I will try again with this to try and get a better tension.
Nice simple design - shame about the instructions
Not good. I like to use written instructions, but fortunately can use charts too. The written instructions for this design are wrong. I had to read the full details and the chart to work out what I was supposed to do. Not good for a basic pattern that I thought was expensive in the first place.
