This colourful Fair Isle inspired tea cosy features little houses and panels of hearts. It’s worked with 11 colours of Jamieson’s of Shetland DK weight yarn.
Looking out across a loch surrounded by mountains is a red roof croft house located on the Applecross peninsular on the West Coast of Scotland. Inspired by the croft house the tea cosy pattern includes the red, white and grey chart with this multi coloured version.

The finished tea cosy will measure approximately 24 cm x 33 cm (9 ½ins x 13 ins).
You will need the following needles - 3.75 mm (US 5) circular knitting needle, no more than 50cm in length. 3.75 mm circular needle, 40cm long or a set of 3.75 mm dpn’s for the decrease section. For the knitted cord x2 4.5 mm dpn’s (US 7).

What I was looking for was not so much the fairisle pattern, but the size of the teacosy and how to make it up successfully. The pattern is really well explained and I am very happy with it.
