Fields of Gold Crochet Blanket by Jane Crowfoot
From the designer who brought you the Persian Tiles and Mystical Lanterns patterns plus many more, Jane Crowfoot presents Fields of Gold. A crochet blanket inspired by a botanical drawings book Jane bought from Kew Gardens.
Jane has always had a love of sunflowers and with their association to heat, sunshine and Vincent Van Gogh (whose sunflower series is renowned) saw these stunning flowers as a symbol of friendship and appreciation. Using them as the inspiration for a new design was inevitable, and as wild poppies are commom place in fields of sunflowers, it was logical that this design should feature them too.
The completed blanket will measure approximately 120cm square.

Fields of gold
Not yet started this project but had admired it for a while and as I had some Derapoints to use thought I’d get it now. Looking forward to starting it after current project is done as the colours are so lovely.
