It was brilliant easy to follow kept me sane through lock down
I have just finished this beautiful scarf. The Rowan silky lace is lovely and soft the colour is gorgeous but it does solide easily! I completely beaded this lace pattern with Mill Hill glass beads the same colour as the silky lace so the beads are discreet but make the scarf luxurious - or I think so anyway. I really enjoyed knitting this pattern and I am very happy with the finished project.
I am about half way through the first lace pattern of this scarf and it is knitting up beautifully. The Rowan silky lace yarn is very soft and lovely to work with, although I caution that it does splice very easily! I chose to use the knitpro zing needles for this and they are fantastic as they glide smoothly and quickly with this yarn. If you are not and advanced knitter I would use a needle that clings to the yarn more. Overall, j’adore this yarn and pattern.
This beautiful pattern will be used to make a couple of Christmas gifts for some special friends.
Really nice pattern and easy to download
