Clementine the Cow by Kate Hancock - Digital Version
Clementine the Cow is sure that there is more to life than roaming the highlands of Scotland, and is hoping to go on an adventure with you. With her beautiful horns and cute cloven feet, she measures approximately 7 – 8” (17 – 20cm) when sitting, and is just waiting to be your friend. Suitable for an intermediate crocheter, the pattern is made in a spiral of continuous rounds, and uses a variety of stitches and techniques which are clearly explained in the numerous diagrams and photos.
Clementine can be poseable or non-poseable – the choice is yours. Clementine can be crocheted using any DK yarn, but why not try our own awarding winning Deramores Studio DK, a beautifully soft acrylic yarn with anti-pilling technology. Cows come in various shades, and we think Clementine would look fabulous crocheted in Chocolate and Oatmeal.
Please be aware that Studio DK is a 100g ball, so you will have some yarn left over – which you could use to put towards one of Kate’s other fabulous designs! To complete your cow you will need: 1 x 100g ball in your Main Shade DK 1 x 50g ball in your Contrast Shade DK 3.5mm (USE/4) crochet hook 3.25mm (US D/3) crochet hook for the crocheted eyes option Small amount of Black and White yarn for crocheted eyes option 2 x 20mm safety eyes (if you are not crocheting eyes) Stuffing Yarn needle Stitch markers Please note: Clementine is crocheted using UK terminology.
