Christmas Stockings in DK by Amanda Berry - Digital Version
These little Christmas stockings are quick to knit and a great project to use up odds and ends in your yarn stash.
Included in the pattern are row numbers for each step so you don’t lose your place, instructions for making the stockings, photos, a list of abbreviations and explanation of some techniques, a materials list and recommended yarns.
TECHNIQUES: All pieces are knitted flat (back and forth) on a pair of straight knitting needles, apart from the hanging loop which is a single crochet chain worked on a crochet hook. You will need to cast on and off, knit, purl, work a k2tog decrease, a kfb increase, and sew seams.

Easy to download, very pleased with item.
Great pattern for using up odd balls of wool, I've knitted 24 and am making them into an advent 'calendar'.

Rewarding to work on
The stockings were fun to knit even though they were tiny!
Didn't take long to make!! Substituted red for purple and white snuggly for top. Instead of moss stitch I did 5 rows garter stitch. Looks good but plan to use chunky yarn and larger needles for the next one to make it larger.
