Hi I have now finished the vest top and I am very happy with it. But I was 9g of wool short. This is the first time I have ever run out of wool when knitting a garment and I have been knitting a long long time. Fortunately o did buy wool for the cardigan as well so I will have to hope I can use some of that. Good luck
I do a lot of knitting and I have never run out of wool but this time I may have to ring for another ball of wool which is very annoying because I ordered the correct amount. I am hoping that when I knit the cardigan to match the top I will have enough left over. If you are knitting just the top I would order an extra ball as it does seem to be taking more than the pattern suggests
Have not tried the yarn yet but the pattern is easy to understand
am busy finishing winter woolies at present but this is to be part of my spring and summer wardrobe
