A blanket to treasure, from earliest days when wrapped around a tiny newcomer, to adventure time in the toy box. Created using Sirdar Snuggly DK 50g, a soft and gentle blend of nylon and acrylic which is available in a huge range of shades for you to choose from.

The blanket is knitted in one piece and uses a combination of three panels to create the charming patchwork appearance. The flowers and butterflies are created using eyelet stitches, the third panel features a square outline in double moss stitch, and the blanket has a double moss stitch border.

When complete, it measures approximately 70 x 84cm (27.5 x 33”). To knit the blanket you will need 4.0mm (US3) knitting needles.

Complicated

The pattern is written back to front for me in that the actually instructions for the blanket come towards the end. Once I had found this then things became clearer.
