A simple lacy scarf with five panels of branching pattern repeats, surrounded by a moss stitch edging border. Julia Marsh from Hand Knitted Things was inspired by birch woods surrounding her croft. This is ideal for those wintry walks in the park and will keep you all nice and toasty! 

Size: 158cm (62ins) x 22cm (9ins) 

Yarn: Double Knitting Weight Yarn with Wool 380m / 415 yds in suggested shade Cream (Will suit any colour. However, you might need to change needle size).

Needles: Pair of Straight 4.5mm (US7) Knitting Needles.

Notions: Tapestry Needle for weaving in ends.

Happy with patterns, Not so Happy with Postage!

The patterns are great and an easy download on the Birch Tree scarf. However, I don't see the need for paying £3.95 on the postage to hand deliver two A4 patterns. I'm sure they could go via the Postman!
