Knitting for charity is a heartwarming way to make a difference using your stitch skills. From preemie hats to charity knitting patterns, thank you gifts for frontline workers, or winter wear for the homeless or refugees, there are so many ways to make an impact on someone's life. We've rounded up some of our fave charity knitting patterns to inspire that next project!

Knitting for Ukraine

This is a cause that is very close to our teams' hearts. With many of our colleagues here at LoveCrafts based in the Ukraine, and now surrounding areas, it has been heartwarming to see the support for them and all other Ukrainians. If you're looking to support them too, you could purchase a pattern that goes to a charity working with Ukraine, or join thousands who knitted hearts to show solidarity. We also partnered with Choose Love and designers who donated their patterns, with all proceeds of these going to support the Choose Love charity and their work in Ukraine.

The Karoo tank designed for the Hilaroo foundation

Designed by Debbie Bliss in collaboration with the amazing Hilary Swank, the Karoo Tank was created in support of the Hilaroo Foundation. The wonderful charity was set up by Hilary herself, to help children in need and abandoned dogs. Through purchasing this pattern, you will be supporting a fabulous cause and creating a wardrobe essential in the process!

Donate to the World Land Trust with this wild knitting pattern!

World Land Trust is an international conservation charity dedicated to protecting the world's most important habitats and wildlife that is under threat. It's never been easier to support this wonderful global charity! Simply, purchase one of the patterns designed by fabulous indie designers and 100% of the profits will go to the World Land Trust's Keepers of the Wild programme.

Show your support for frontline health workers

Frontline workers continue to put their health at risk for others during these tricky times. Knitting these adorable little frontline worker dolls or whipping up some mask mates to donate are a lovely gesture to show your gratitude and support.
