Riding The Wave Blanket Crochet Kit and Pattern in Deramores Yarn

Enjoy crocheting this therapeutic blanket with its soft gentle waves and soothing shades of the ocean, designed by Cassie Ward. This pattern uses the yarn Deramores Studio DK which is a wonderfully soft acrylic yarn which has been developed with anti-pilling technology.

  • 2 x Deramores Studio DK - Jade (70053)
  • 2 x Deramores Studio DK - Ocean (70067)
  • 2 x Deramores Studio DK - Topaz (70039)
  • 2 x Deramores Studio DK - Pearl (70002)
  • 1 x Digital Pattern

Please note: Aqua Green has been substituted for Topaz.

For this kit you will need the following:
4.5mm crochet hook


  • Yarn weight: DK | Light Worsted (3) | 8 Ply

  • Length: 250m | 273yds

  • Needle Size: 4.5mm crochet hook

  • Ball weight: 100g | 3.5oz

  • Tension: 18sts and 7 rows to 10cm | 4in over pattern using 4.5mm hook or size required to obtain tension

  • Fibre: 100% Anti-Pilling Acrylic

  • Care Instructions: Machine Wash - Synthetic Wash - 40°C , Dry Clean - P , Do Not Bleach , Tumble Dry - Low Heat , Do Not Iron

First ever crochet project

Always been a knitter but in lockdown decided to learn to crochet. This was easy to follow and taught me how to hold the hook and yarn. Loved the colours and the completed blanket is soft and cosy. I am now absolutely 'hooked on crochet', nearing the end of my second project and planning the next
