Chantel by Rowan - Digital Version

A treasure from the Rowan archive, this beautiful crocheted shawl is a light and airy layer which will add a touch of class to any outfit. Created using nine shades of Rowan Kidsilk Haze, a soft and lustrous blend of silk and super kid mohair which is available in a wide range of stunning shades. Designed by Kim Hargreaves, the shawl consists of 100 motifs, each approximately 8½ x 8½cm (3&frac12 x 3½”). The motifs are then crocheted together and edged before the tassels for the fringe are added. When complete, your shawl will measure approximately 43 x 170cm (17 x 67”) excluding the fringe, and you will need a 3.0mm (USD3) crochet hook. Note: this is an archive pattern, and some of the shades have been discontinued, but there are many other gorgeous colours for you to choose.
