Created for Deramores by the designers at Quail Studio, The Emma Blanket - Mystery CAL, (Crochet Along) is a pattern puzzle waiting to be solved. Quail Studio have designed several bestselling knitting books for us, including The Studio Collection - Seven Knitted Winter Accessories (Digital Version), and we are thrilled to announce their first crochet design for us. The pattern was released in 10 weekly parts, with 10 sets of instructions, and a final part with information about making up and finishing your project. When complete, the blanket will measure approximately 140 x 140cm (55 x 55"). The Emma Blanket Mystery CAL has been created using shadowy shades of Mist and Smoke, complemented by moody Heather and deep, dark Aubergine, and finally, jewel-like Jade brings just the right amount of exoticism to this gorgeous selection. The fabulously refined shade palette is ideal for many modern interiors and will add style and elegance to your home. Quail Studio have used our own award winning Deramores Studio DK, a soft but hardwearing acrylic yarn with anti-pilling technology, so your afghan will be cosy, durable, machine washable, and can be tumble dried. Each 100g ball of Deramores Studio DK is approximately 250m (273 yards). The pattern requires a 4mm (US G/6 crochet hook. Please note that this CAL uses UK crochet terms. Lovely blanket, inspiring patterns
This is a great blanket pattern. I’m not the world’s best person for crotchet, but with patience and concentration this is possible. I’m changing the colour-way to suit my room and thoroughly enjoying the whole experience.
