The final result was pleasing but repaid detailed examination of the photograph. The lines on the chart could have been clearer!
Soft and lovely to crochet with
Excellent highly reco7
Bought for scarves not socks. This is a glorious yarn. I ordered seven colours, a mixture of variegated and semi-solid. The colours are vivid, deep and strong, more so than shows in the photos. Very soft (but for ultra soft fingering track down Malabrigo's Mechita elsewhere) and very strong for its fineness. I tried three knit stitch styles in Diana colour: chevron, faggoting and arrowhead lace. The first two work beautifully showcasing the extraordinary colour changes to great effect. The lace not so good, as the colours got muddied together, and also the finished result was not so soft, so best to stick with simpler less textured stitches. The Marte colour is utterly gorgeous, and the Ivy is quite vivid. Be prepared for your yarn to be even more colourful than shows in the photos! The semi-solids were less what I was looking for, much more primary/basic, but still good if you want bright with a hint of shading.
