Instructions could be improved

The main part of this jacket is easy and ideal for a beginner - a super large granny square - and the final effect is very good. As an experienced maker I found the instructions just about adequate but feel that the pattern could be improved by more precise details for the collar and cuffs and better illustrations - the full page picture of one view of the item is not helpful and the line drawing is sketchy , with minimal detail.

Fabulous pattern

I really enjoyed making this for a friend. The pattern is very easy, so suitable for beginners, but the finished result is good enough to look as though it's much more difficult to make. I didn't enjoy the yarn quite as much as I'd like. Actually would prefer to work with natural fibres - maybe patterns could have alternative yarn suggestions to include wool, alpaca, cotton, linen etc?

Multiple crocheted garment

I am now working on my eighth cocoon cardi . The yarn, Cygnet Chunky, is a pleasure to work with, and one of the yarns ordered is for another one for me!
