Needlecrafts, in particular knitting and crochet have been a lifelong passion for me. Learning to knit at just five years old I have never looked back. I progressed through the years from making dolls clothes and scarves to knitting garments for my friends and family.

Later on I worked for many designers and yarn companies, check knitting their projects. I branched out in designing my own garments and was lucky enough to have my designs published in National Knitting magazines. Things took off from there and I began designing regularly for several magazines.

My first book was published in 2010 and to date has sold upwards of 50,000 copies.  Since then I have written many more knitting and crochet books. Cutest Ever Baby Knits, 20 to Make Tiny Teddies and 20 to Crochet Baby Shoes, being amongst my best sellers. 

I live and work in Shropshire, a very beautiful county and a place that lends itself to much of my inspiration.
