About The Cornish Knitting Company

Hi, my name is Sarah Murray, I’m a freelance knitting and crochet designer and I live and work in Cornwall. I’ve had patterns of my own designs published in several magazines, and I regularly write and edit knitting and crochet patterns for a number of publishers and I also knit and crochet for photography.

I am happy to design many different types of item, but I especially enjoy quirky things, household items and accessories, and men’s and children’s garments.

I love to incorporate inspiration from the Cornish landscape in my designs, in the form of twists, cables and other textures, colours inspired by the sea and project names inspired by the Cornish language. You can view all my latest designs at www.deramores.com.
