Hi, I'm Jo Janes. I am a married mother of one and I live in Bristol in the UK with my husband Simon and my daughter Lily.  I was lucky enough to be taught how to knit and crochet from my two grandmothers when I was a little girl.  I picked up my hook in my 20’s and then again in my mid 30’s and this is where my passion took off. 

Since the beginning of 2018, I have had my patterns published in both the UK and US including Crochet Now Magazine, Big and Little Crochet Partworks Series and Interweave Crochet Magazine.  With a background in Marketing and Business Development and in recent years enjoying a challenging position of a Teaching Assistant in a Primary School, I took the decision to concentrate on my crochet designing and pattern writing for publications full time.  I particularly love designing homewares and I draw my inspiration from my surroundings incorporating simple colour combinations which bring a pop of colour to your home.
